Marvel Shares Mighty Thor Meme Ahead Of Love And Thunder

When it comes to Marvel’s next stage four, we know there’s a lot to get excited about, but at this point, we don’t know. With Black Widow, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange building on the stories, the upcoming movie series will feature a ton of new heroes, including Eternals and Shang-Chi. Still, the most anticipated part of the herd may be Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder after the filmmaker redefined the character in Ragnarok, and Marvel is teasing his comic origins.  

Marvel Shares A Meme Of Mighty Thor?

Marvel Unlimited tweeted this image of Thor Odinson and his partner in crime, The Mighty Thor, and it completely covers our hype about the franchise. No Jane, there is no calm! You will officially play the role of Manjholir on the big screen in 2022! As announced during last summer’s San Diego Comic-Con, Natalie Portman was confirmed to be returning to the Thor movies to play the role of The Mighty Thor in the MCU. Just look:  

 

It’s a pretty sweet development for Marvel, especially after there were accusations that Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster was being sidelined and reduced to a lame love interest in the franchise. In the comic book series that began in 2015, Jane became worthy of wielding the hammer while being treated by breast cancer. Every time she transformed into the Mighty Thor, her body was cleared of all toxins, which was great for her health while she’s the hero, but it also canceled out her chemotherapy.  

Tara Waititi is keeping her mouth shut on whether she will adapt Jane Foster’s cancer story for the movie Thor: Love and Thunder. Either way, this time we hope to turn Natalie Portman into a superhero, it’s going to be really good. The last time we caught up with Chris Hemsworth’s character in Avengers: Endgame, he wasn’t looking to swing. Thor gave Tega Thompson’s Valkyrie the crown of the Asgardians and was ready to ride in Milano with the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Other Updates?

After feeding on wine, guacamole, and the Fortnite obsession during the events of Avengers: Endgame, it’s possible Thor will lose his grades and be transferred to Jane Foster in some way. This would be an interesting investment in dynamics if Jane is the one with the balance of power and Thor needs savings.

Who knows? One can go to the film in one direction. Christian Bale is playing the villain role in a script that Taeka Vetti calls “crazy” but also “very romantic.” Thor: Love and Thunder are expected to begin filming early next year and hit theaters on February 11, 2022.
